- Oversees statewide employee assistance program staff and monitors all aspects of clinical service delivery.
- Masters' Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. Requires knowledge of an advanced type.
- Other (Specify): Valid Hawaii license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Ph.D. or equivalent) required. May be required to obtain CISM, SAP and CEAP certification and become FEI approved, if eligible
- Four years plus.
- Other (Specify): Four years post-master's experience in a human service field with at least four years of clinical supervisory experience required. EAP experience preferred.
- Experience in supervising and training clinical master's degree and higher employees required. Employee Assistance Program or other business experience preferred. Experience working in a fast-paced team environment and attention to detail required. Experience in providing chemical dependency assessments and familiarity with DOT federal substance abuse regulations preferred. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work under moderate to high levels of stress, adapt well to change, possess and use good customer service skills, have a high degree of tact, and the ability to work independently but collaboratively with the WorkLife Hawaii administrative team.
- Ensuring service delivery is performed according to organization's mission statement, policy and procedures and service philosophy.
- Maintaining open, ongoing and timely communication with the administrative team.
- Providing timely in-service training, supervision to employees and consultation to providers.
- Weekly monitoring of formal supervisory referrals and substance abuse referrals.
- Conducting and documenting ongoing individualized coaching and annual appraisal of clinical personnel.
- Addressing employer, vendor and/or participant concerns regarding the performance of clinical personnel.
- 3-5 years experience providing clinical supervision, performance evaluation and training to master's level behavioral health professionals required. Proficiency in solution-focused counseling principles and working collaboratively with staff and contractors also requires.
- Master's degree in a clinical field (psychology, social work, counseling)
