    Description
    As part of our team, the Sales Coordinator coordinates and administers sales promotions, assists in researching and evaluating sales opportunities; works closely with Sales Managers, clients, other departments, and outside vendors as needed to meet guest needs and ensure an excellent client experience

    Essential Functions:


    Handles a high volume of customer inquiries while ensuring each guest feels taken careof in a professional and friendly manner.

    Works with clients and vendors to validate and organize invoices, charge postings andpayments.
    Communicates with groups regularly to ensure deadlines are met and the cancellationpolicy is understood.

    Provides a warm welcome to groups and acts as the main point of contact; coordinatesVIP deliveries and organize welcome reception as appropriate.

    Reserves and confirms rooms, meeting space, and banquet space when necessary.
    Coordinates all aspects of guest experiences including confirming guest reservations, communicating with other departments to meet guest service requests.

    Qualifications and Skills:
    Bachelor's degree preferred.1+ years' experience in a similar role, office environment.
    Preferred hotel experience, preferably with a Marriott or Hilton Brand.
    High level of verbal and written communication skills.
    Customer service orientation with a friendly and outgoing personality.
    Computer skills.
    Organizational skills.
    Attention to detail.
    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
    Ability to work well within a team.


    Work Environment:
    Professional work environment requiring business casual dress; frequent interactions with guests/clients. May require standing or sitting for extended periods; work on a computer monitor and use of basic office equipment.
