    General Purpose:

    This position creates and implements email and social media marketing campaigns to support the organization's wide-ranging initiatives and revenue goals.

    This position treats internal departments as clients to anticipate, manage , and meet their needs; collaborates closely with the Marketing Manager on team brand assignments and workflow; with the Creative and Web departments to bring marketing ideas and messages to life; and with the Events department to align marketing timelines with critical dates.

    This position requires a high degree of skill in managing a large volume of separate projects simultaneously and the ability to see the big picture and focus intently on detail and process.


    Essential Duties:

    • Project ManagementCooperate with VPMC to develop and implement marketing strategies and timelines for projects as assigned.
    Collaborate with the Creative department to generate creative concepts.
    Collaborate with department leads to develop concepts and copy, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
    Manages and traffics paid advertising assets as assigned.
    Coordinate with outside PR agency to generate media application approvals for association events.
    Assist in brand adherence/consistency across brands.

    • Email Marketing Write, build, route, and send email marketing communications as assigned.
    Write marketing, web, newsletter, and social copy, tailoring voice to various audiences.
    Coordinate and schedule membership renewal seriesCreate, send, and track performance of HTML emails.
    Own best practices for marketing email communications and list management, specifically vis-à-vis the association's customer database.
    Leverage in-house database for effective email list management.
    Maintain positive working relationships with association members, media, vendors, and other constituencies.
    Maintain knowledge of email marketing best practices.
    Proofread and edit communications materials as assigned.

    • Social MediaManage 25 social media channels, including editorial calendar management, content creation, online community monitoring, and providing timely responses to members. Repurpose newsletter and web content into compelling social posts.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain the editorial calendar.
    Schedule posts as assigned.
    Community engagement and management as assigned.
    Coordinate with the outside paid social team as assigned.
    Maintain knowledge of social media best practices.


    RequirementsA successful candidate will possess:
    Excellent copywriting and editing skills and ability to adapt "voice" to various audiences.
    Strong organization skills and excellent attention to detail. Experience using marketing automation software; proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus. Social media planning and execution experience; proficiency with Sprout Social a plus.
    Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
    High level of creativity and ability to bring fresh ideas to the marketing team.
    Knowledge of email marketing best practices. Knowledge of social media best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    Proficiency in WordPress and basic HTML.Basic Photoshop knowledge preferred.
    AP Style Guide knowledge.


    Travel Required:

    • Minimal travel expected to Brewers Association events, as assigned
