SUMMARY OF POSITION
This is a remote position HOWEVER, applicants in Illinois or surrounding cities is preferred.
This position is part of a 24/7/365 high volume, suicide prevention focused call team. Our department has been featured in a Time Magazine article detailing our team's efforts toward suicide prevention. As a part of this team, you'd be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis and reach out via 988. This is an excellent position for recent graduates interested in providing support and demonstrating compassion toward others while being a part of a dynamic team of crisis care consultants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Education Level
Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist required.
Experience
One year preferred.
