    Job Title: General Urologist

    The Department of Urology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a full-time urologist with a focus on general urology and robotic reconstruction. The ideal candidate will have expertise in evaluating and managing common urologic conditions, particularly for Gay Men, and advanced skills in robotic genitourinary reconstruction.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Evaluating and treating patients with general urology conditions, including benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), urinary stone disease, lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), male sexual dysfunction, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, and urinary tract pain
    • Performing surgical procedures, including robotic reconstruction
    • Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in the outpatient clinic setting

    This position offers opportunities to drive a busy office-based clinical practice, teach top-notch residents and students, and grow a research program in clinical or implementation science related to general urology and robotic reconstruction.

    We are looking for a candidate who is experienced, skilled, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of urology. The successful candidate will be based at UCSF Medical Center at Parnassus and work in the outpatient clinic setting for patient evaluation and office-based procedures. Operating room privileges will be granted at UCSF Medical Center or Affiliate Campus facilities for surgical procedures.

    Requirements:

    • MD degree and board-certified/eligible by the American Board of Urology
    • Experience in general urology conditions, particularly for Gay Men, and advanced skills in robotic genitourinary reconstruction
    • Strong clinical research portfolio and teaching experience
    • California medical license and ability to obtain if not already held
