    Description


    The Territory Manager will enhance the sales volume and merchandising impact in a geographical area of responsibility while maintaining good working relationships with distributors, retailers, consumers and co-workers.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Work independently & with distributors to build positive working relationships & increase share of mind
    • Organize and execute events and brand activations independently and in partnership with local accounts
    • Achieve monthly targets for account visits
    • Achieve quarterly sales and distribution targets
    • Manage expectations of brand standards
    • Conduct business reviews, sales meetings & brand launches at distributor
    • Manage local POS inventory & order as needed
    • Schedule and participate in periodic "trade days" with distributor reps
    • Open new accounts & build consumer awareness in existing accounts
    • Establish working knowledge of territory's potential new account base
    • Continually place Point-of-Sale materials that capture retailer and consumer attention
    • Set up promotion & sampling events to drive consumer awareness
    Knowledge & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree and consumer products experience required
    • 2+ years of sales experience
    • Beverage alcohol industry experience preferred
    • Strong analytical, presentation and verbal communication skills including use of MS Office
    • Demonstrates a passion for the beverage alcohol business.

    Physical Requirements/Work Environment

    • Must reside within specified territory
    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Must have own vehicle with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Ability to travel at least 30% of his/her work time and capable of driving up 5 hours
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs briefly.
    • Able to work standing for several hours at a time
