Job Description:
Seeking an Attorney with expertise in asbestos litigation to advocate for plaintiffs diagnosed with mesothelioma. You will undertake a pivotal role in the legal process, focusing on crafting and responding to briefs, motions, and discovery. This role demands a skilled writer with 2-5 years of experience, exceptional organizational abilities, and analytical prowess.
Primary Duties:
• Prepare, review, and refine legal documents, such as briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to bolster case arguments and offer insights to clients.
• Validate employment histories and product exposures, procure records, and draft affidavits and other necessary paperwork.
• Represent clients in various court proceedings.
• Collaborate with the legal team to devise case strategies and implement litigation plans.
• Maintain meticulous records of case materials and documents.
• Deliver outstanding client service and guidance throughout the legal journey.
Skills:
• Persistence, thoroughness, keen attention to detail, organizational prowess, and adept problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Possess adept investigative skills to gather pertinent information.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar and active law practice license.
• 2-5 years of legal practice, ideally with a focus on representing plaintiffs.
• Proficiency in crafting motion responses for both state and federal courts.
• Additional experience in appellate work and judicial clerkships is advantageous.
• Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational, detail-oriented, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication proficiency.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Demonstrated dedication to furnishing top-notch legal representation to clients.
