    This position is based in Plano with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.
    Who we're looking for
    Toyota'sCustoms and Trade Compliance Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Trade Programs Analyst.

    The analyst will play a critical role in strengthening Toyota's customs reconciliation and duty savings programs that span Toyota's imports into the United States.

    Reporting to the Trade Programs Sr.

    Manager,the person in this role will support Customs and Trade Compliance Objectives with the objective of ensuring best-in-class compliance trade practices.

    What you'll be doing
    Implementation and ongoing administration of reconciliation filing preparation including:

    Identification, review, and preparation of items to be included in reconciliation filings.
    Identification of opportunities to improve the reconciliation process and
    Establishment of recommendations and implementation plans to do so.

    Implementation and ongoing administration of trade programs such as:

    Duty exemption related to U.S. goods returned and other HTS Chapter 98 provisions.
    Free Trade Agreement (FTA) administration:

    FTA parts solicitation and coordination with suppliers
    Review of FTA requirements & preparation of stakeholder educational materials
    Certificate and key document preparation, issuance, and oversight.

    Support trade program system solutions, including working with outside service providers
    Review audit findings and support process refinements as needed to ensure compliance
    What you bring
    Bachelor's degree OR equivalent, relevant work experience.
    Progressive experience in Customs and Trade Compliance and related functions, including trade programs (e.g. Free Trade Agreements or Drawbacks) and reconciliation.
    Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
    Strong problem-solving, quality, process development, & kaizen mindset.
    Ability to stay focused to ensure that our projects meet timing requirements and are aligned with government requirements.
    Added bonus if you have
    Work experience in other functional areas including Accounting, Operations, and Quality.
    Strong technical knowledge of automotive parts.
    Experience working with MS Excel (or Access) and large amounts of data
    Knowledge or experience with Global Trade Management System (GTM) software or other internal SAP ordering, payment, or inventory systems.
    Customs Brokers License.
    Experience leading projects requiring collaboration from stakeholders across divisions.
    Strong communication skills
