    Construction Project Manager

    Quincy, MA

    Our client is an established General Contractor in Quincy, MA with jobs ranging from $2-10m.

    The successful candidate will possess strong project management and polished communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and be efficient, accurate, and organized. The ability to lead and work well in a small team environment, as well as independently is a must. This position reports to the President.

    Project Manager Responsibilities:

    • Assist Estimating Team with bidding
    • Work with Estimating Team to Evaluate & Select Subcontractors
    • Acquire Building Permits
    • Write Contracts and Purchase Orders
    • Create, Maintain and ensure Adherence to project schedules
    • Manage daily project progress and lead & coordinate with Superintendent, Subcontractors, Architects & Owners and attend project meetings.
    • Address site & unforeseen Conditions and evaluate for RFI's & Change Orders.
    • Manage the Submittal process
    • Create & Maintain RFI, Submittal, and Change Order Logs
    • Ensures proper Safety procedures on the job site including proper PPE use.
    • Oversee close-out process including O & M's, Inspections, etc.
    • Create an amicable relationship with all.

    Minimum Experience Requirements:

    • 4 Year Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
    • 10 Years of Experience in Project Management
    • Massachusetts CSL & OSHA Certification
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Project
