    Kraemer North America is currently looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist (Recruiting Emphasis) to join our team in our Burnsville, MN location. This position will be a hands-on resource responsible for supporting all employees of the company with a heavy focus on company and campus recruiting. Other functions include EEO/AA compliance, outreach, employee relations, performance management, etc.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with leaders to develop targeted recruiting plans for designated positions and locations (field and office roles)
    • Actively manage internal applicant tracking system (ATS)
    • Creatively write job postings to catch the eye of potential candidates on both traditional and social media platforms
    • Perform initial screening of candidates to determine appropriate candidates to be recommended for additional interviews with business unit leaders
    • Draft and send offer letters as requested by business unit leaders once approved
    • Assist in the onboarding process by developing and managing formal processes to ensure a smooth transition into Kraemer
    • Develop relationships with professors, faculty, and career services staff at regularly targeted universities Kraemer successfully recruits from
    • Maintain schedule for career fairs/job fairs the company will be involved with; register for the Career Fairs and work with operations group to adequately staff the career fair event
    • Attend career fair events (does require travel throughout the U.S.)
    • Manage the Kraemer internship program by working with operations to ensure interns have a meaningful experience from initial recruitment through internship completion
    • Initiate and follow up on intern evaluations by mentors as well as evaluations by interns on feedback from the internship
    • Manage diversity outreach initiatives (people of color, females, Veterans, and disabled) to include initial communication and continued relationship building with various community-based organizations
    • Manage outreach efforts to high schools and technical colleges and develop relationships to provide a steady stream of candidates for the various trade/craft positions
    • Participate in industry outreach efforts through the various construction organizations (AGC, etc.)
    • Work with HR team in the development and maintenance of company position descriptions
    • Assist HR team and leaders with employee relations issues
    • Monitor annual performance management system to ensure employees and managers are completing annual performance reviews in a timely fashion
    • Assist in helping employees understand company-offered benefits while working with HR team and/or insurance companies on resolving any issues
    • Assist in other Human Resource areas including job site posters, OJT management, State and Federal compliance reviews (EEO/AA), other compliance-related areas (FMCSA, FRA, drug/alcohol testing, etc.) and other duties as assigned
    • Monitor diversity of workforce
    • Source candidates on a regular basis
    • Ensure compliance with EEO/OJT compliance requirements on local, state and federal level
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent amount of experience in the human resources discipline
    • Previous experience in a recruiting function required
    • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
    • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
    • Human Resources accreditation preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, etc.)
    • Previous construction/engineering experience helpful but not required
    • Ability to travel as required (20%)
