    Job Type Part-timeDescriptionAs a Sales Associate you will be the face of Many Hands to customers in our thrift stores.

    We need you to help by assisting our customers with their purchases and, through caring interactions, support our local and international missions.

    Join our team to make a difference to those in need What you'll do Greet and interact with customersAnswers customer's questions about merchandiseCollect payment using the store point of sale systemAssist customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing informationBag, box, and wrap purchased itemsEnsure accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of the shiftPerform other duties as assignedReports to Store ManagerRequirementsWhat you bring Excellent verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsBasic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refundsAbility to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and calculatorsAbility to operate or to quickly learn the store's point-of-sale systemAbility to positively represent the ministry of Many Hands, including its mission, vision, and core values to all outside constituencies How we help with your success We provide on-the-job training Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail spaceMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
