- Intake is a seven (7) day a week, twenty-four (24) hour a day operation that is responsible for receiving and processing documents from the District Attorney's Office.
- Receive and docket felony complaints, fugitive complaints, felony indictments, information, no bills, misdemeanor information, municipal appeals, and ex parte matters.
- Perform accurate data entry of information related to charges filed.
- Issue arrest warrants, capias' and precepts to serve documents.
- Issue court directives when required.
- Receive and file search warrant returns.
- Process executed and returned documents from the Sheriff.
- Provide bonding information to bondsmen.
- Pick up documents from Grand Jury room.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility of the position.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
- Must have above average reading skills.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication.
- Must be capable of working under stress and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be willing to travel to any destination required to participate or assist with office projects.
- Must act as a role model for the section; presenting oneself as a professional employee for the other employees to emulate.
- Must be able to work overtime without prior notification and work flexible hours.
- Must have the ability to maneuver; including lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
- Must be eligible for employment in the United States.
