Job Summary
The Quality Technician supports the Quality Management System (QMS) by maintaining calibration and quality records, controlling documented information, coordinating customer returns and complaints, and supporting inspection activities.
- Maintain the calibration database for all inspection, measuring, and test equipment
- Schedule calibration activities and coordinate with internal teams and external calibration providers
- Track calibration status certificates out-of-tolerance conditions ensure accuracy completeness retention per record-retention requirements process Return Material Authorizations RMA in accordance company procedures log track route customer complaints appropriate functions ensure timely investigation support communication internal teams maintain complaint RMA records metrics closure status coordinate customer third-party source inspections assist internal external audits ISO AS9100 customer audits maintain quality records databases Ensure controlled documents reviewed approved released distributed correctly track quality metrics provide status reports requested Support continuous improvement corrective action activities Works develop customer relationships collaboration respect professionalism trust integrity Listen understands customer requirements prompt appropriate action exceeds expectations interface supplier quality receiving procurement production departments obtain compile necessary documentation required source inspection package perform related duties assigned
