Job Summary:
Senior Helpers - South OC is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as overnight caregivers for our clients in Laguna Beach, California. As an Overnight Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing care and support to our clients during the night, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities:

1. Providing assistance with nighttime routines such as toileting, bathing, and grooming.
2. Monitoring and administering medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
3. Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients throughout the night.
4. Responding promptly to any emergencies or medical concerns that arise.
5. Assisting clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
6. Providing companionship and emotional support during the overnight hours.
7. Documenting observations and activities in client care logs.
8. Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and family members regarding any changes in the client's condition.
9. Performing light housekeeping duties such as tidying up and meal preparation.
10. Adhering to all applicable regulations and guidelines related to caregiving practices and client

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in the healthcare/medical field is preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions properly
- Availability to work overnight shifts on weekdays and/or weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is ideal
