- Prep for salad bar and power bowl
- Perform a variety of tasks concerned with preparation and serving of foods and beverages to our guests.
- Running a cash register ringing up all items for guests at check out.
- Operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks.
- Assist with catering set-up and serving as needed.
- Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.
- Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and returns to appropriate location in the kitchen area.
- Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service.
- Customer service skills are needed.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Preferred experience as a cashier.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to cook, especially short order high volume grill.
- Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds at times.

*Southern Foodservice Management, Inc., *a national contract food service provider*, *is looking to hire an experienced *Food Service Worker* (full-time) for our corporate dining facility at *Blue Cross Blue Shield* located in *Columbia, SC 29219*.The shift schedule is *Monday through Friday,* and the shift hours are *6am-2pm*.
The payrate is *$12.00-$13.00 per hour*.
Daily job duties will include salad bar and power bowl prep.
Remaining job dudties will vary from day to day, you will serve as an extra hand for the FOH & BOH, you will be trained at in catering, the grill and at the register.
You will provide routine food preparation, customer assistance services and on any given day the responsibilities may vary to meet the needs of the operation as directed by the Management Team.
