- Work with 5-6 project managers concurrently to support projects in various phases of design and construction.
- Develop, implement, and maintain external and internal cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.
- Report accurate updates to cost reports or forecasts.
- Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables.
- Ability to compare schedules to financial data to ensure consistency of project timeline.
- Ability to integrate schedule data and other data sources in Excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.
- Analyze project control reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to the project controls team.
- Ensure budget tracking against Purchase Orders or Subcontracts.
- Responsible for the review of upstream (prime contract) / downstream (PO & subcontract) change orders.
- Manage integrated data from one program to another.
- Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables.
- Serves as a point of contact for technical questions from APMs, PMs, Lead Engineers, or Construction staff.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or business from an accredited program.
- 1-10 years of related project cost experience.
- Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically and make quick and sound decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel. A valid drivers license is required.

Contract-to-hire opportunity: Engineering & Construction client is looking for a Project Cost Analyst with 4+ years of cost analysis & cost engineering experience. Candidates with banking, manufacturing, or construction experience will be considered.
This position will start as an on-site role for the first month or two. After that period, this will be a hybrid role--working in-office Tues-Thurs; working remotely Mon and Fri).
