**Shift: Mon, Tues, Thu, Fri: 12:00PM - 6:00PM & Sat: 8:00AM - 12:00PM**

As our Customer Service Representative in the Primary Children Riverton, youll work Mon, Tues, Thu, Fri: 12:00PM - 6:00PM & Sat: 8:00AM - 12:00PM in our Outpatient lab. Youll be the first face they see and the person they rely on to answer questions during registration. Youll build trust in these interactions by collecting information accurately and quickly, but also by listening with compassion - not just to intake information, but their fears, too. To thrive in this job, youll need to be confident with technology and typing, however you dont need to have any previous experience or knowledge in healthcare. Well teach you everything you need to know, which makes this a perfect starting point to launch your career. All applicants must also be vaccinated, pass a drug test, and background check prior to hire.

Heres what you can expect working in Patient Registration:

Working on computers to intake information. Youll work across multiple screens collecting details that must be imputed correctly. You should feel comfortable working across multiple programs and typing as quickly as patients can talk.

Helping people who are scared. Were not human computers intaking information. Patients need you to be there for them and listen carefully in order to ease their anxiety. Youll ask the follow-up question and build rapport in real time.

Fast-paced work. While the data you collect may be predictable, the people youll get it from arent. You have to expect the unexpected. This is not a casual desk job.
