POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs professional engineering work to assist in chemical plant operations and future designs. The work includes assisting in calculations, Process documentation, Statics and Dynamics analysis, and data logging.Necessary training will be provided, but basic knowledge of physics, thermodynamics and dynamics is preferred. Job will consist of about 60% work in the office and 40% work in the plant.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Take detailed and organized notes.
• Log process data
• Determine product/equipment properties
• Assist in Statics calculations
• Assist in machine model changes
• Assist in Modifying the existing plant
• Assist in any plant issues no matter how small
• Comply with all Federal, State and Local laws.
• Have the ability to fluently read, write, and speak in English.
• Adhere to guidelines, policies and procedures as described in the Jacam handbook.
• Adhere to Jacam's Drug and Alcohol policy and agrees to submit to random drug testing as a condition of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Completed high school or GED
• Enrolled in an engineering or industry related field.
• Willingness to learn
• "Get it done" mentality
• Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful and credible in the workplace.
• Display an ability to build relationships.
• Display the ability to prioritize work activities.
• Identify problems in a timely manner and working with a group, develop solutions.

SKILLS & ABILITIES :

• Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver's License Required.
• Computer Skills: Have average computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser and easily follow online instruction. Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
