Job Description:


As a Residential Habilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents


Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personalized support and assistance with daily living activities such as budgeting, meal prep, cleaning, etc.
• Implementing individualized habilitation plans to promote skill development and independence.
• Fostering a safe and inclusive living environment that promotes dignity and respect.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the wellbeing of each resident.
• Documenting progress and communicating effectively with team members
• Assisting with medications

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
• Experience working in a residential or communitybased setting is preferred but not required.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in disability support services are a plus.
• Ability to Submit and Clear a Health and Welfare Criminal Background Check
• Good driving record. This position requires proof of a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. Transportation is a requirement of this job, mileage is reimbursed.
• First aid and CPR certification is required for the duration of employment.
• Medication Certification is required, upon hire we can assist with certification.
