    Position:

    Sales ManagerLocation:
    Indianapolis, INAs a pivotal member of the team, you will drive sales performance, foster client relationships, and ensure unparalleled customer service within a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture

    Your Responsibilities will include:


    Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as outlined in sales budgets and forecasts, emphasizing profitable volume growth and enhanced operating profit margins.

    Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to expand existing accounts and secure new business opportunities.

    Coordinate sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with manufacturing, operations, customer service, and finance departments to optimize effectiveness and profitability.

    Establish and enforce procedures for new account acquisition, pricing management, and sales team coordination.
    Interface with Corporate Sales & Marketing to maximize the Major Account Program's impact.

    Lead or participate in key sales initiatives for larger or national accounts, coordinating with Sales Managers and corporate Sales and Marketing personnel as required.

    Participate in weekly cost control meetings and provide accurate forecasts aligned with actual results by month-end.
    Contribute to pricing and Request for Proposals (RFPs) processes to enhance profitability and align with volume forecasts.
    Assist or lead collection efforts in conjunction with Finance when necessary.
    Manage departmental expenses to align with yearly budgetary allocations.
    Uphold corporate safety policies by promoting safe behaviors and practices through training, communication, and monitoring.
    Lead talent management initiatives, including talent recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and development planning.
    Identify and cultivate high-potential employees for expanded roles and responsibilities.
    Ensure compliance with performance feedback and appraisal processes in a timely and effective manner.
    Hold team members accountable for performance, providing training assistance, or implementing documented performance improvement plans as needed.

    What will make you stand out:
    Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales leadership experience.

    Experience within corrugated, paper, or similar manufacturing industries is requiredPrevious experience leading sales functions in a manufacturing environment or significant operational setting.

    Exceptional sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
    Demonstrated experience leading project teams or groups of employees.
    Strong business acumen and financial background, with a results-driven approach.
    Proficiency in current business software technologies is mandatory.
