- Collaborates with the school team to support data study and educational planning efforts.
- Conducts psychological assessments, testing, and diagnostic examinations of students for the purpose of recommending courses of action or corrective procedures to maximize learning and overcome barriers.
- Conducts individual, group, or facilitative therapy for students whose diagnosed problems would benefit from behavior modification or differentiated instruction.
- Assists with the identification programming and placement of students.
- Coordinates with administrators and other teaching staff members to ascertain individual students' abilities and needs, and to familiarize stakeholders with services.
- Engage in professional learning as aligned with school and district.
- Partner with others in the school community to share expertise and create plans toward educational and social progress.
- Develop professional development and student seminars around specific goal areas and social skills.

- Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis, and the formulation of action plans
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students
- Ability to engage in self-evaluation regarding performance and professional growth
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work
