- Responsible for all video content and graphics for NextGen at NC
- Collaborate with staff to bring ideas to life through video and stage presentations
- Promote NextGen events in digital form, including social media
- Coordinate with staff, students, and parents on shooting video projects
- Produce countdowns and series bumper videos
- Enlist, train, encourage, and direct students and/or adult volunteers to use their gifts in video production
- Responsible for the routine maintenance and inventory of NextGen video equipment
- Maintain video shoot schedules
- Maintain an archive of video projects and manage NextGen platforms
- Attend and coordinate all video needs for scheduled NextGen events, camps and trips
- Coordinate with other departments on NextGen graphic design needs
- Other duties as assigned
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC NC
- Have a joyful passion for NextGen and Children's ministries
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Prior professional/business experience in video editing
- Knowledge in scripting, directing, cinematography, lighting and sound techniques
- Able to work in a team environment
- Self-starter who can take direction, but also think outside the box
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud; Premier, Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator and/or Final Cut X
- Ability to work varying schedules including evenings and weekends (general schedule Sun-Th)
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs; able to lift 30 pounds without assistance
