    Description

    We are searching for a highly skilled Software Developer who is passionate about quality to join our IT Quality Engineering team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). As an SDET, your role will focus on driving test automation strategies that empower our delivery teams to offer top-notch solutions to our clients in a faster and more efficient manner. You will collaborate with software developers, QA analysts, and other SDETs to develop strong, scalable, and reusable test automation suites, setting the stage for future automation endeavors and facilitating continuous integration & delivery.

    Day-to-day Responsibilities:

    • Identifying and implementing optimal programmatic testing solutions for applications on a distributed system
    • Applying object-oriented principles to ensure the automation framework's reusability and extensibility
    • Working with fellow SDETs to establish and execute protocols for automated functional, load, performance, and stress tests
    • Gathering and evaluating test metrics, synthesizing test data, and providing recommendations based on insights
    • Assessing automated tests and tools to ensure traceability and resolution of shortcomings
    • Logging, validating, overseeing, and resolving defects through a defect-tracking tool
    • Creating and deploying automated testing solutions in DevOps CI/CD pipelines across various enterprise projects

    Background and Skills Requirements:

    • Preferred 3+ years of experience in Automated QA Testing
    • Minimum 2 years of Java experience and familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
    • Background in Mobile testing, preferably involving Appium
    • Requisite 2+ years of experience in Configuration Management processes and utilization of supporting tools
    • Proficiency in unit, integration, system, and functional automated testing
    • Demonstrated ability to implement automated tests in a CI/CD environment
    • Experience with automated performance/load testing is a plus

    Qualifications That Will Set You Apart:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
