    Description
    This position is for an Electrical Design Hardware Engineer within the Automotive Space
    • Day to Day:The successful candidate will work with the design team to develop innovative new technologies from concept to production.
    Responsibilities include implementation of circuits including schematic and PCB layout, testing and validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. You will also be responsible for delivering designs which meet quality, schedule, and cost targets. Join our team making smart vehicles for a smart world and bringing new ideas to life.
    Design high speed digital and power management circuits to meet section requirementsDesign circuits using industry standard schematic capture toolsPCB layout implementation of responsible subsectionDesign complex high-speed signals that meet impedance requirementsPerform worst case analysis of circuits in area of responsibilityGenerate documentation that defines processor pin assignmentsDevelop detailed design documentsPerform failure mode analysis and generate process documentationDefine stress test routines required to validate functional sectionsDesign communication links between the processor, other internal subsections, and external modulesFormulate test plans to ensure component level performanceValidate testing to ensure performance over temperature and voltage extremesRoot cause and resolve issues in assigned sectionsParticipate in system design reviewsInterface closely with other teams such as Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing teams and with external component suppliers

    Must Haves:
    Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Electrical EngineeringHands-on circuit design experience & high-speed interfacesKnowledgeable on microprocessors & microcontrollersWorking knowledge of industry standard interfaces such as (I2C, UART, SPI, PCIe, PCI, USB, LVDS, DDR, Ethernet, etc.)

    Experience working with test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, temperature chambers, time-domain reflectometers, precision power meters, etc.)Plusses:
    Knowledgeable on solid state memory, cameras, displays and sensorsExperience in specialized complex hardware and embedded software systemsFamiliar with automotive interfaces (e.g. CAN, LIN, etc.)Proficient in simulation tools for signal integrity and power management circuitry#J-18808-Ljbffr
