Use expertise in power supplies, microprocessors, microcontrollers, memories, peripheral interfaces and displays of industrial products.

B2 Review/compare component specifications between like components from the same and different manufacturers, including specifications of electrical IC components (purpose of each pin, timing, speed, voltage, and current limits) and effects on circuits.

B3 Review of electrical component costs and highlight high-cost components and evaluate circuits and determine which components can be removed to simplify circuits.

B4 Trained to utilize schematics design tools including Altium, Allegro Design Entry, ORCAD, and PCAD and simulation using LT SPICE to assist in cost reduction activities.

Use Six Sigma tools, such as Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA), to maintain reliability while designing less expensive products.

B5 Follows well defined alternate component qualification process and performs qualification testing following Bently Nevada test methodology such as manufacturing tests, temperature, humidity, GTEM, HALT, and calibration and vibration testing for specific prox.

    probes, seismic sensors, and enclosures.

B6 Understanding and familiarization of the product and process requirements staring from feasibility analysis to till implementation of the design and support for product release.

B7 Follows well defined alternate component qualification process and performs qualification testing following OS operations LLC test methodology such as manufacturing tests, temperature, humidity, GTEM, HALT, and calibration and vibration testing for specific prox.
