- Scheduling team travel and practices in compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Guide student-athletes on a range of personal and educational issues.
- Monitoring the academic progress of athletes.
- Assists in the care and maintenance of the softball field.
- Fundraising
- Promoting the softball program through involvement within the college, community, and Trojan Booster Club.
- Submitting an approved annual operating budget.
- Reporting information to the media with the CCC Sports Information Director.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree and experience as a softball coach required.
- Master's degree and experience as a collegiate softball coach preferred.

Job DescriptionColby Community College is accepting applications for a Head Softball Coach. The head softball coach is responsible for the operation of the softball program within the rules and regulations of the Jayhawk Conference, the National Junior College Athletic Association, and Colby Community College. The coach works closely with administrative offices and departments across campus. Rapport must be established, maintained, and promoted with students, faculty, and staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SALARY
$42,000-$49,000, depending on credentials and experience.
