Job DescriptionSalary: $60,000 - $70,000 / year

We are seeking a qualified Commercial Construction Junior Project Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Estimate commercial construction projects ranging in size from $500,000 to $20,000,000.
Developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
Communicate with architects, owner, subcontractors and suppliers.
Process and tracking RFI's.
Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service.
Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors.
Managing bids from vendors and contractors.
Using bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis.

Qualifications:

2-3 years' experience required.
Must have full comprehension of both architectural and civil design drawings.
Proficient with computers, tablets and smart phones, including typing skills.
Willingness to work necessary hours to ensure all project estimating needs are being met.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers.
Exceptional time management skills.
