    Description
    Job Brief Researcher DCS is seeking a skilled and motivated Researcher with advanced proficiency in statistical modeling to join our dynamic team
    The ideal candidate will have a Master degree or higher in a related field and a strong background in statistical analysis techniques
    The primary responsibilities will include assisting with research, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to support customer research initiatives
    This is a hybrid position with the option to work remotely part time

    Essential Job Functions:
    In this role, you will be asked to use your advanced knowledge of statistical techniques to analyze complex data sets
    This may include using mixed effects modeling, Item Response Theory (IRT), Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), and multinomial processing
    You will also be asked to collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in designing research studies and collect data

    Required Skills:
    Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S
    Citizenship is required
    At least a Master degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field with 4 years of related experience
    Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S

    Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: eligible to attain at least a Secret level U.

    DoD security clearance
    Advanced proficiency in statistical modeling techniques, including mixed effects modeling, IRT, SEM, and multinomial processing
    Demonstrated experience in analyzing large and complex data sets
    Experience in programming languages such as Python and R
    Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
    Ability to travel, as needed

    Desired Skills:
    Prior experience working with military and/or government contracts
    Expertise in human-machine teams; integration of natural language processing; autonomy; modeling, simulation and analysis
    Demonstrated ability to provide strong customer support, with the ability to grow current contracts, write or contribute to new proposals a plus
    Ability to formulate and execute strategies to grow new business
    Hold an active Secret or higher level clearance
