Our underwriters analyze Healthcare Professional risks with broad opportunity for production across the Healthcare Industry Segment and collaborate with BHSI business units:Cyber, D&O, Property, Transactional Liability, and others.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Production Underwriting of Healthcare PL:
primary, umbrella, excess, reinsurance.
Broad Professional liability underwriting experience in Healthcare preferred.
Conducting broker and insured meetings including travel.
Establishing, developing, and expanding broker relationships.
Learning and selling new healthcare products as they are introduced.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Hospital and/or Outpatient underwriting/insurance experience.
3+ years of experience preferred.
Position located in BHSI office in Atlanta, Boston, New York or Chicago.
Large account Underwriting and client experience preferred.
Strong underwriting acumen, effective communication, and negotiation skills.
Motivated, adaptable, analytical, and collaborative.
Proven leadership and record of effective execution.
BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience.
