    Job DescriptionOnly applications submitted through the City of San Antonio's on-line application process will be general supervision, is responsible for assisting public health physicians and professional nursing staff in conducting patient health care services in the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District.

    Working conditions are in clients' homes and office environment with occasional exposure to hostile people and infectious diseases. Exercises no supervision.
    QualificationsGraduation from a State Approved school of vocational or practical nursing.
    Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License.
    License to practice vocational nursing in Texas.
    Preferred QualificationsBilingual in English & Spanish.
    Experience with storage, handling, and administering immunizations.
    One year of public health experience.
    Experience with childhood and adult vaccinations.
    Experience with electronic medical record documentation.
