    Overview:

    Under direct supervision of the radiology supervisor, performs routine radiographic procedures utilizing all standards for quality and radiation protection. Provides direction for clinical student radiographers. Provides personalized care, recognizing the worth and dignity of each patient. Will perform all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of Mercy.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience: Completion or Enrolled in Radiology Clinical Education.
    • Preferred Experience: 6 months experience preferred.
    • Required Education:Two year AMS approved program in Radiologic Technology, AS or BS degree or Enrolled Second year Radiology Student in a 2 year AMA approved program. Radiation safety training.
    • Licensure:ARRT registry or registry eligible (Achieved registry within 6 months of hire)
    • Certifications:American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Other: Good oral and written communication skills.

    Exciting New Incentive:

    Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.
