Job Title: Dishwasher at [Company Name]

The Dishwasher collaborates with both front of house and back of house team members to ensure proper cleaning and organization of kitchen supplies, dishware, silverware, and glassware. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a constant supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and glasses for the kitchen and bars.

Responsibilities:

Safely operating the commercial dishwasher following company and industry protocols.
Regularly sanitizing event and restaurant dishes and storing them appropriately.
Prioritizing washing various types of dishes and kitchenware.
Hand washing dishes as necessary.
Loading the dishwasher with dishware, silverware, utensils, etc.
Drying washed dishes and kitchenware.
Organizing clean dishes and kitchenware in designated areas.
Collaborating effectively with the team to deliver outstanding service in an upscale setting.
Performing tasks like mopping, sweeping, and taking out the trash.
Following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Restocking supplies for service and culinary teams.
Being adaptable and open to assist with minor food prep alongside dishwashing duties.
Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Preferably possess ServSafe Certification or willing to obtain it within 30 days of hiring.
Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in task completion.
Ability to multitask, collaborate effectively, and work independently.
Access to reliable transportation and availability for flexible work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must exhibit punctuality, reliability, and a conscientious work ethic.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Communication skills and sensory abilities for effective understanding and expression.
Maintain exceptional hygiene and grooming standards.
Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
