- Clear Understanding of Programmable Controllers and Robotics
- Experience in metal stamping environment/manufacturing.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production, and performs scheduled maintenance and repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health Rules
- Know the proper and improper use of PPE and equipment with ultimate concern for personal safety and safety of others
- Communicate any/all issues with equipment that needs to be addressed on weekend or other designated downtime of equipment.
- Technical training – mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Previous employment in a manufacturing environment
- Clear understanding of lean principals and the application of lean tools
