Job Description:

Gravity is actively seeking a Senior JD Edwards E1 Software Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the development life cycle. Working closely with analysts, architects, and engineers, this role will plan, design, develop, and unit test solutions based on functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to an enterprise-wide JDE upgrade and subsequently work in one or more of our software engineering pods post-initiative completion.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cultivate effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to software engineers.
• Utilize advanced skills to solve technical challenges.
• Offer technical guidance and support to colleagues.
• Engage in hands-on JDE E1 development work.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and project managers to create technical design documents.
• Execute advanced IT tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain composure and professionalism in a software engineering development environment under pressure.
• Manage multiple changing priorities/tasks effectively.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with JD Edwards E1 9.1, 9.2.
• Expertise in Oracle JD Edwards E1 tools: RDA, FDA, BDA, and TDA.
• Familiarity with JDE Orchestrator, UX One, BSFN, and BI Publisher.
• Confidence in creating UDOs (E1 Pages, OneView, Watchlists, etc.).
• Ability to create advanced queries using SQL, DML, and DDL for data analysis, user requests, and KPIs.
• Knowledge of DevOps / SDLC methods, including release strategy.
• Understanding of DB schema design.
• Experience with interface architectural principles and best practices.
• Deep understanding of multiple technologies, business strategies, and objectives.
• Adaptability to new technical innovations and business processes.
• Exposure to at least three of the following or similar tools:
• JD Edwards Orchestrator
• Oracle Integration Cloud
• IBM App Connect Pro
• SAG web Methods
• MuleSoft
• 10+ years of direct experience with at least 3 of the following tools, technologies, and concepts:
• REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0
• JSON, XML, XSLT
• Python, Groovy, SQL, SSIS
• Postman, SOAPUI, JDeveloper, SQL Studio, Visual Studio, Git (GitLab, GitHub)
• Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, Docker
• EDI / X12, Cleo, SPS Commerce, Gentran

Education and Experience Requirements:

• years of relevant experience.
• A four-year college degree or 8+ years of direct experience and certifications.
