Summary

We are seeking a full-time Inside Sales Specialist to support our used machinery sales efforts across Gladwin Machinery Solutions and Action Machinery territory. This role is critical to ensure accurate listings, responsive follow-up, coordinated purchasing efforts, and smooth execution from initial lead through post-sale support. The position works closely with sales, service, warehouse, and partner dealers to help deliver consistent and professional customer experience.

Compensation & Benefits

· Base Salary: $70,000 Annually

· Sales Commission: Additional Commission Earned on Completed Sales

· On-Target Earnings (OTE): Approx $87,500+ Annually

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing Machinery

· Assist with purchasing used machines as needed within Gladwin and Action territories.

· Support and manage consignment opportunities with a focus on Exclusive Right to Sell agreements.

· Actively identify and engage new dealers and sourcing partners.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to identify creative purchasing opportunities.

Sales & Machine Listings

· Assist sales teams with machine condition details, pricing, quotes, and documentation.

· Ensure used-machine listings are accurate, consistent, and up to date across all platforms.

· Prepare and distribute weekly Priority Level A requests to each office.

· Monitor sales lines and inquiries to ensure no machines or leads are missed.

· Update machine status in Business Central (Hold / Sold / Available).

· Import and maintain Standard Level of Care documentation in Business Central.

Operational Coordination

· Track service and logistics timelines to ensure machines are repaired, prepped, and shipped on time.

· Verify consignment machine accuracy, paperwork, and agreements.

· Assist in locating hard-to-source parts in the warehouse or through suppliers.

· Actively manage split-machine arrangements with partner dealers.

Key Account Management

· Support key regional and national accounts under leadership guidance.

Online & Territory-Specific Sales

· Manage Machinio leads outside of Gladwin or Action territories.

· Actively engage with Action Machinery sales teams on shared deals.

Post-Sales

· Assist with post-sale issues including documentation, coordination, and follow-up.

Required Qualifications

· 2+ Years of Experience in one of these related categories: Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Purchasing.

· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.

· Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple machines, leads, vendors, and timelines.

· Proven ability to follow up consistently and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

· Strong written and verbal English communications skills, including on the phone, in email, and in online lead management.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and keep things going without supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $87,500.00 per year
