- Initiate sourcing strategies utilizing various channels (ATS, job boards, social media, professional networks, universities) to identify and attract top talent for open positions.
- Conduct candidate screenings, including resume reviews and pre-screen calls.
- Partner with hiring managers across the site to develop interview plans, conduct interviews, and effectively evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Manage the entire recruitment process for non-exempt positions, including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and managing the pre-employment screening process through to onboarding, ensuring timely communication with all applicants and candidates.
- Occasionally support exempt-level recruitment activities based on business needs, including but not limited to, managing the entire recruitment process.
- Meet and exceed recruitment metrics including Time to Hire and Vacancy Rate metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders to understand current and future talent needs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and recruitment technologies.
- Participate in job fairs, career events, and other talent acquisition initiatives as requested.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, applicable employment laws and regulations.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a strategic partner in attracting, acquiring, and onboarding top talent to support our business. You will partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for open positions, primarily focusing on non-exempt roles, with exempt-level recruitment as needs arise. This position is site-dedicated and will drive hiring and talent strategy for our Wentzville, MO site

This position will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager with dotted-line reporting to Site Leadership.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and sit or stand. Must be able to sit at a desk working on a computer for long periods. The employee will often be required to walk the length of the warehouse floor several times in a single instance. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 15 pounds, anything greater than 15 pounds may require assistance. Specific vision abilities require working at a computer and viewing presentations at a distance.
Work Environment
This job is performed in office and warehouse environments with high forklift traffic. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and photocopiers. The employee is required to wear PPE when in the warehouse environment. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in a warehouse location; additional requirements could be necessary per location requirements. This role is primarily site-based with occasional travel as required.

Full Time, On-Site, Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.
