Description

We are hiring for a Physical Therapist role at Caretenders, a part of LHC Group.

This is a salaried position that covers Lynnfield, Danvers, Peabody, Salem, and Swampscott.

As a physical therapist, you will build trusted relationships with patients, enjoy continuing education opportunities, work independently, and have possibilities for career growth.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions. Develop treatment plans, perform interventions, and evaluate progress.

Assess patient functional status and physical therapy needs. Assist physicians in developing therapy plans of care.

Observe and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in condition to supervising nurses and/or physicians.

Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.

Instruct healthcare teams, patients, and caregivers about plans of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.

Education and Experience

Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice
Current CPR certification
Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle
