    Description

    Our client in Huntsville, Alabama that specializes in E-commerce, is searching for a temporary Inventory Associate to support a 3-day long project in our client's warehouse.

    This individual must be able to stand for long periods of time, process inventory, and have flexibility during the 3-day period for the potential of long hours.


    SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
    $15/hr

    POSITION OVERVIEW:
    Inventory Associates are responsible for accuracy, adhering to inventory procedures, and providing professional customer service at every inventory.

    The schedule requirements are Thursday April 4th from 1 pm – 5 pm, Friday April 5th from 8 am – 8 pm, and Saturday April 6th from 8 am – 8 pm.


    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INVENTORY ASSOCIATE:
    Achieve established productivity goals while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data collected in all inventories worked.

    Work assigned shifts and adhere to a flexible schedule with varying hours, including working an extreme schedule, resulting in long occasional hours.

    Work in various work environments such as a warehouse.
    Relay information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation.

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE INVENTORY ASSOCIATE:
    The Inventory Associate must be proficient with a handheld tablet and other inventory equipment.
    Demonstrates a sense of urgency and delivers excellent output.
    Prolonged standing with occasional walking.
    Repetitive motions requiring the use of both wrists and hands as well as fingers.
    Able to work for extended periods of time.
    Frequent walking, standing, reaching, stretching, squatting, and kneeling.
    Use of ladders and step stools.
    Balancing when counting stock from a ladder.
    Able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
    High school diploma or equivalent is required
