    To support our growth, we are looking to add an Automation Controls/Mechatronics Engineer to our team.

    We are looking for an experienced Automation Controls/Mechatronics Engineer with a solid knowledge base and understanding of the latest PLC, Motion Control, Robotics, and programming.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, Automation Controls Engineer to collaborate with engineers. The person in this position will work primarily to develop robust and well-structured industrial control software logic. This role has the opportunity to grow and develop to the ideal candidate's strengths and preferences.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Ability to read, program, and troubleshoot PLC logic to resolve complex problems and optimize machine performance. (Often featuring large count of servo axes)
    Active role in designing software of new systems
    Debugging and testing new logic
    Assist with supporting existing PLC, HMI and Robot programs
    Finding root cause and possible solutions for issues
    Test Newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of specifications


    Position Specific Competencies:
    Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging industrial electrical control circuits and programs.
    Knowledge and hands-on experience with the design and programming of B&R PLC's, HMI's.
    Robot Programming, Fanuc primarily
    Good mechatronics background
    Familiarity with G-code

    Knowledge in the use of common industrial electronic components, including starters, contactors, circuit breakers, proximity switches, photo-electric switches, position sensors, controllers, DC, AC, and servo drives.

    Thorough understanding of common industrial machine operation.


    Experience :
    2+ years experience programming PLC's
    Proficient in PLC and HMI Programming – preferred Structure text (B&R is a huge plus)
    C# programming and WPF experience a plus
