- Assist surgical teams in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) by preparing equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
- Set up and maintain sterile fields, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment during CVOR procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other team members during procedures, providing timely assistance and support as required.
- Operate and maintain CVOR equipment and instrumentation, troubleshooting issues and communicating effectively with biomedical engineering as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
- At least two years of recent experience as a CVOR Technician or Surgical Technologist in a cardiovascular setting.
- Strong knowledge of CVOR procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
