- Collect data, perform statistical analysis, and map processes
- Identify process gaps and implement process improvements
- Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement plan to drive customer value

Description
Position: Continuous Improvement Engineer at Ryder
This role plays a key part in fostering the culture of continuous improvement at Ryder by actively applying various methods to enhance both new and existing operations. The Engineer will lead changes in the operation through data-driven Continuous Improvement, Engineering, and Automation efforts to achieve higher levels of performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
They will utilize data analytics, engineering methodologies, and advanced lean tools to pinpoint and eliminate root causes. This role involves collaborating with employees across different levels and functions within the operation and reports to the Lead Engineer, CI Manager, or Sr. CI Manager, closely working with Operations Management.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain) along with 5+ years of related experience in Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing. A Master's degree with 3+ years of experience is also acceptable, or an MBA with an undergraduate Engineering degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) is essential.
