    Sr. Project Engineer - Roadway (PE)

    What We're Looking For:
    Summary
    We are seeking a talented Project Engineer - Roadway that will be responsible for technical project planning oversight andorganization, technical design, preparation, and production of reports and bidsets, and quality control. Technical lead on multiple projects ofmoderate size or challenging portions of a major project.
    Responsibilities
    • Provides technical guidance on project scope, budgets, andschedules for assignments.
    • Supports PM providing technical leadership on various projects.
    • Conducts technical planning representing analysis, creating designs,preparing reports, and other various tasks.
    • Designs a complete project, system, component, or process.
    • Reviews and may prepare complete project documents for conformity and projectassurance.
    • Influences stakeholders and manages stakeholder relationships within andoutside Barge.
    • Directs on-site visits to monitor progress of project.
    • Directs CADD technicians in preparation of project plans.
    • Mentors and reviews work ofmore junior staff for quality purposes.
    • Technical lead on multi-phase or complex projects.
    • Performs other duties asrequested.
    Education & Experience Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree from accredited program. Minimum of8 years of engineering experience. Registered PE.
    • Applies thorough knowledge andproficiency acquired through progressive experience to resolve challengingissues.
    • Can be considered a SMS in a discipline or market practice area.
    • Keeps informed regarding new methods and developments affecting theorganization and recommends new practices or changes in emphasis.
    • Effectively collaborate with business and teams to meet defined objectives.
