    About the Role:

    Job Title:
    EDI Test Engineer


    Project Summary:
    We are seeking an experienced EDI Test Engineer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) testing, including experience with EDI standards, protocols, and tools.

    The candidate should also have experience working in an Agile development environment.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for EDI systems.
    Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of EDI transactions.
    Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of EDI implementations.
    Identify and report defects in EDI systems.
    Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on EDI testing
    Strong understanding of EDI standards, such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
    Experience with EDI translation tools, such as Gentran, Sterling B2B Integrator, or similar
    Knowledge of healthcare EDI transactions, such as 837, 835, 270/271, etc., is a plus
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Location:
    Richardson, TX (3 days onsite a week)

    Salary Range:
    The salary for this position is between $95,000 – $100,000 annually.

    Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
