Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown is seeking a passionate and guest-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily restaurant and banquet event operations. You will be working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team to ensure the highest levels of service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily F&B shift operation and monitor compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures.
- Assist in training and supervision of front-of-house food and beverage staff.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Monitor the staff and ensure all guests are being cared for during their visit.
- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Support the servers, if necessary, in taking orders, running food, clearing/cleaning tables, and greeting/seating guests.
- Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
- Ensure all legal requirements are consistently followed, including state or local laws for food safety and the sale/consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Addresses guest complaints and reports to Food and Beverage Manager.
- Monitor the appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.
- Assist with the planning, organizing, and execution of events.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience ideally as a Food and Beverage Supervisor
- Culinary or cooking experience is a plus
- Ability to lead a team, establish service standards and positively influence employee behavior.
- Must have Serve Safe Food Handling and TIPS certification, or willing to obtain certification upon hire.
- Ability o work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
