    Required Training

    Upon their start date, all interns will be required to complete the following training:

    · 2024 Cybersecurity Awareness Training

    · Phish Alert Button Training

    Any interns with access to patient health information will also be required to complete the following training:

    · Steri-Safe: Annual HIPAA Staff Training

    · Steri-Safe: Advanced HIPA

    Any interns with a lab component of their internship will be required to complete the following trainings:

    · DOT Training

    · Steri-Safe: BBP Training

    · Biohazardous Waster Training

    · Steri-Safe: Hazardous Communication Training

    Process

    Overview

    The Research & Development Intern (RDI) will work under the guidance of senior research and development personnel to primarily support data analysis and interpretation related to ongoing projects and initiatives aligned with CND's commitment to high quality and scientific excellence. The RDI will perform assigned technical functions, analyses, and interpretations related to workflow assessments, capacity modeling, pathology results analyses, etc. in a timely, thorough manner and with excellent communication. Other project support responsibilities may be assigned as needed and based upon the location of the internship. An in-person internship at CND headquarters is required for laboratory-related additional responsibilities.
