Description
Job Title:
Assistant Controller We're seeking a dedicated Assistant Controller to join our clients team. In this role, you'll oversee financial processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to the organization's financial well-being.
Join us and make a meaningful impact Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day financial operations and transactions. Prepare and assess financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Showcase proficiency in government contracting principles and compliance. Collaborate closely with program managers to monitor project budgets and expenditures. Utilize Cost Point for financial reporting, analysis, and project tracking. Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and government regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in government contracting. Strong proficiency in Deltek Cost Point software. Excellent understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and government regulations. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
