    Meeting Street is currently looking for a School Nurse for 40 hours per week.

    Duties:
    • Administers medications and performs nursing procedures ordered by the physician to be given during school hours including but not limited to G-Tube feedings, catheterizations, respiratory treatments, dialysis, dressing changes, wound care, trach care and suctioning, etc.
    • Performs ongoing health status evaluations and medication/treatment reviews to identify health needs and potential problems.
    • Documents all nursing care and changes in a student's health status.
    • Communicates timely updates to families and applicable school staff regarding health concerns or changes in the health status of the student Collaborates with the other disciplines involved in a student's care, to optimize the student school experience.

    Requirements
    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
    • Willingness to become licensed as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island
    • Maintains current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification.
