    Overview:
    We are looking for a committed Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team.

    The perfect candidate will have a strong dedication to patient care and possess the essential skills to offer respiratory therapy services to individuals in need.

    * *Job Title: Respiratory Therapist** *Company Location: Winchester, KY** *Work Schedule: night shifts** *Compensation: $50,000 to $75,000** *Signing bonus of up to $5000** *Job Type: Full-time / Permanent*

    *Must Have:
    • Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License - Required
    • Graduate of CRT or RRT Program - preferred
    • Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of being hired
    • ACLS, PALS within 60 days of being hired / Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 90 days of being hired

    *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer. May perform tobacco cessation education, bedside PFT, EKGs, etc as ordered by the provider.

    Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

    Evaluates respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.

    Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance. Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.

    Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources.

    Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.

    Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.

    Disassembles, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, and performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.

    Performs all responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service level



    Job Type:
    Full-time


    Compensation:
    $50,000 to $75,000.00 annually
