- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in Public Accounting advising large multinational corporations regarding Federal and Multistate income tax or equivalent experience in industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
- Master's degree in Accounting.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP / S4 Hana.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; organized and attentive to details; ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong organization skills necessary to maintain complete and accurate tax files and manage tax due dates to ensure timely filing of tax returns and payment of taxes.

Description and Requirements
Position Overview:
The Direct Tax Senior Analyst will serve as part of the US tax team, directly supporting Lenovo's Direct Tax Manager. The Senior Analyst's primary responsibilities involve preparing and/or reviewing federal, state, local income and franchise tax returns, schedules, extensions, and estimated payments; performing and documenting tax research; supporting and assisting with quarterly income tax provisions; assisting with tax technology upgrades and implementations. They will also collaborate with key departments across the organization, including Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Legal and Research & Development.
This position is a hybrid opportunity which requires work from office in Morrisville, NC as well as work from home.
Job Responsibilities:
Compiling data and performing the required analysis and calculations to complete tax return work papers.
Reviewing tax returns and schedules prepared by external provider.
Preparation and review of quarterly estimate/extension tax calculations and payments for all North American entities.
Compiling data to support audit response and requests for information from taxing authorities
Preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with IFRS (IAS 12).
Specific tax related activities include (but not limited to) support & management of the Research & Development Tax Credit, Statutory Financial Statements, and Transfer Pricing Documentation.
Support and assist with various ad hoc reporting requests.
Assist in digital tax transformation projects by advising BT/IT teams on tax requirements as well as supporting solution design and testing.
Monitor, research and analyze tax law changes.
