Description

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for pricing strategy and RFPs for new and existing customers. This individual will have a strong understanding of the truckload market and experience in marketing freight.


Responsibilities:
Create strategic pricing and analytical responses for new and existing business.
Evolve with the marketplace to deliver competitive solutions to customers while growing volume and margins for the business.
Deliver solutions in a dynamic data visualization format (SQL) to quickly respond to customer RFPs & renewals.
Works with leadership to ensure customers receive accurate, and complete information in the most efficient and user-friendly manner.
Performs other duties as requested by the supervisor.


Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in pricing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to effectively use Excel, SQL and other business reporting tools and techniques.
Ability to use tools to mine data and create meaningful reports.
Knowledge of how to formulate strategic plans and forecast future rates.

Demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; diagnosing and rectifying problems.
